UK-based ,Jupiter Asset Management has hired four discretionary wealth managers from country-wide independent financial advisor Bestinvest to add yet again to its private client business, according to Citywire. This addition would be the second boost in a week for Jupiter’s private client business after the firm took four discretionary managers, Robin Walker, Paula Forecast, Phil Gent and Oliver Pearson-Lund, from Singer & Friedlander Investment Management, as reported in WealthBriefing last week. Jupiter's chief executive Edward Bonham-Carter said: “Jupiter’s private client division has enjoyed strong organic growth in recent years, with assets under management increasing two and a half times in the past five years.” A total of six staff members is understood to be joining from Bestinvest.
