High Profile Headhunter Confirms New EMEA Wealth Head

The international executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles said it has appointed Harry Pilkington as partner to lead its wealth management business in Europe, Middle East and Africa, confirming a report by WealthBriefing about the move in May this year.

Mr Pilkington will be based in London, the firm said.

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Mr Pilkington worked for more than ten years as a partner and head of the wealth management practice for executive search firm Armstrong International. Before moving into search, Mr Pilkington worked in investment sales and management roles at Henderson Investors and JO Hambro Investment Management.

Pascal Smith, head of Financial Services in EMEA at Heidrick said: “We are looking forward to consolidating our wealth management opportunities in the region under Harry’s leadership, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East where our business is growing steadily.”
