Close Wealth Management Adds to Trusts Team

Close Wealth Management said it has made three senior appointments to its trust division as part of what the UK firm calls its ambitious growth plans.

Peter Scull has been appointed as client services director, with responsibility for the quality of services. Mr Scull is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Institute of Financial Services and qualified with the Securities Institute.

Jeff Arkley has been appointed as senior trust director and will be based in Guernsey. Mr Arkley moves to Guernsey from Close Brothers’ Cayman business, where he has been director of the Trust and Corporate Department since 2003.

Stuart Divall has been appointed as a manager with responsibility for client management and operations. Over the last 10 years, he has held senior management roles at institutions including Trident Trust, HBOS, and NIB (part of Nedcor).

Close Wealth Management Group is part of UK-listed Close Brothers, the UK investment and banking firm that was established in 1878.
