UBS Hires Lehman Wealth Management Staff Across US

UBS Wealth Management US has confirmed a Dow Jones report that it has hired 26 financial advisors from the stricken Lehman Brothers. The 26 had more than $60 million in combined production and about $12 billion in assets under management. Marten Hoekstra, head of

These hires follow UK bank Barclays acquisition of Lehman's private investment management unit, with around 350 brokers.
William Calvert, Stanley Abrams, Steve White, Thomas Barry, David Goodenough, Mike Wunderli, Kirk Wendorf, William Kun, Ryan McClellan, Johnny Chuchen, Michael Wallace and Kevin Kramer will work in the Los Angeles PWM office. They had $17.8 million in combined production and managed $4 billion in prior assets. They will report to newly-hired branch manager Barcley Perry, who will manage 28 advisors in the office.
Jeff Oster, Neil Konigsberg, Gregg Abernathy, Christopher Clifford, Charles Strickler, Laurie Presnell and Michael Barnowski will join the San Francisco PWM office; they had $8.2 million in combined production and managed $1.1 billion in prior assets and will report to Wendi Eckardt, who will have 35 advisors.
