US Law Firm Hires Tax, Corporate Partners in London

Katten Muchin Rosenman Cornish, the London affiliate of US law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman, said it has recruited Andrew Turner as a tax partner and Imran Sami as a corporate partner.

Previously a partner at Speechly Bircham, Mr Turner advises on UK and international taxation issues affecting financial institutions, investment funds and inward investors on structuring transactions such as cross-border acquisitions and joint ventures. Mr Turner has also acted for corporate executives and business owners on issues such as implementing investment, exit strategies and executive compensation plans.

Mr Sami, formerly a senior associate at Simmons & Simmons, advises on a range of corporate, domestic and cross-border public and private M&A and equity capital markets/transactions. Mr Sami has experience advising investors and companies in private equity and venture capital transactions.
