Bank of America said it has named William Lissau as its Oklahoma state president and Tulsa market president.

Mr Lissau will continue to serve as a private client advisor for US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management.

In his new role, Mr Lissau will provide business, civic and philanthropic leadership for Bank of America throughout the state. He will focus on strong communication and integration among the bank's local business lines, enhancements to the customer experience, revenue growth and efforts to strengthen the bank's presence in the community, the bank said.

Mr Lissau succeeds Michael Earl, who was the president of Bank of America-Oklahoma from 2006 until 1 August, when he moved to New Dominion.
