Wachovia Promotes for New Florida Wealth Strategy Head

Wachovia Wealth Management has appointed William Bourbeau as wealth management director in Florida, succeeding Anne Alexander, who has been appointed executive of strategy and execution for the wealth markets group, based in Jacksonville.
Mr Bourbeau, who was previously head of the premier banking and investment group at Bank of America in Florida, will be based in Palm Beach.
Prior to his stint in Flordia, he led Bank of America's private bank group in northern California and was national director of talent planning for the private bank. Before this he spent nearly 15 years with Merrill Lynch.
The Florida wealth markets group, serves clients with $10 million in net worth and/or $5 million to $50 million in investable assets.
Mr Bourbeau will head the group's team of nearly 200 relationship managers and associates based in 17 offices throughout Florida.
