UK Wealth Management Firm Starts New Membership Service

The Route Group, a specialist wealth management firm for high net worth individuals, has introduced a membership concept, and launched as The Route City Wealth Club, according to media reports. The wealth club offers members an integrated financial service focused on helping them achieve their life goals rather than simply investing their assets.

By paying an annual £2,400 membership fee, members have all of their money needs taken care of by experienced relationship managers. Businesses areas covered include property, will lending advice and portfolio management, as well as tax advice and retirement solutions.

The club also presents unusual investment opportunities such as film and wine funds. Members are also provided with annual performance updates.

Mark Worrall, managing director of The Route City Wealth Club, was quoted as saying: “We have done a lot of research into what young, ambitious City high flyers wanted from their wealth manager and decided that we needed to move away from a ‘traditional’ service and more towards a club.
