Signature Bank Continues Hirings to New York Private Client Team

Signature Bank, a bank operating in New York, said it has appointed a team of four from North Fork Bank, a rival US bank now known as Capital One. The latest moves follow other appointments announced less than a week ago.

The bank said that it has hired Alan Roth as a private client banking group director and senior vice president. Along with three of his colleagues who are joining Signature, this deposit-gathering team will be based out of the bank's Madison Avenue office in Manhattan.

Mr Roth spent seven years with North Fork Bank, where he led a private client banking team. Prior to banking, Mr Roth had established a 15-year career in commercial real estate.

Signature Bank also named Katherine Mulvey as group director and vice president and both Blerina Limaj and Celena Mangelli as associate group directors and vice presidents.

"We continue to seize opportunities to take advantage of the changing New York financial services marketplace,” Joseph DePaolo, Signature Bank's president and chief executive, said.

Signature Bank has 21 private client offices located in the New York metropolitan area, serving the needs of privately owned businesses, their owners and senior managers through dozens of private client groups.

The bank has made a number of appointments recently. Earlier this month, Signature appointed three new banking professionals to its private client team. Like the latest appointments, they will be based at the bank’s Madison Avenue offices in New York City.
