Wachovia Forms Regional Wealth Management Group

Wachovia Securities has formed The Ghigliotti Wealth Management Group of Wachovia Securities in Portsmouth, Virginia. Ghigliotti Wealth Management is comprised of Gary Ghigliotti, managing director; Jim Fogarty, senior vice president of investments; John Butofski, vice president; PIM Portfolio Manager Skip Lockwood and Steve Demarais, financial advisors. In addition to investment services, Ghigliotti Wealth Management provides retirement planning, estate planning, insurance planning, education planning and lending services from Wachovia Bank. Separately, Wachovia has appointed Mark Wesson as the new regional director of its private banking operations in Alabama. Mr Wesson will be responsible for managing the largest metro areas in Alabama, including Birmingham, Huntsville, Mobile, along with Destin, Florida. He previously worked as the managing director of the Birmingham wealth management team.
