Rathbones Takes Team From Close in Jersey

Rathbone Investment Management International has appointed Peter Paturel, Vaughan Rimeur, Phil Bain and Tim Ford to its Jersey- based investment team. The new team, who join from Close International Asset Management in Jersey, will be responsible for the investment strategy and management of a range of existing segregated domestic and international portfolios for private clients, trustees and intermediaries. In a statement, Jonathan Giles, managing director of Rathbone Investment Management International, said: "The team’s experience and reputation will strongly support the growth we are seeing from trustees and private clients for both multi-manager and absolute performance mandates. Their hire, together with our recent launch of a specialist managed fund targeting professional trustees, illustrates how we are developing our offshore capabilities through both recruitment and the expansion of our investment services.”
