Kleinwort Benson Continues Hiring Drive, Creates Head Of PWM Offshore In Jersey

Kleinwort Benson has appointed former Deutsche Bank senior manager Clive Wright to the newly-created role of head of private wealth management offshore, continuing a run of recent senior hires in the company.

He will be based in Jersey and report to Stephen Rothwell, head of private wealth management at the firm.

Wright has been at Kleinwort Benson since January after leaving Deutsche Bank in Jersey, where he was head and managing director of its private wealth management business in the Channel Islands, Turkey, Israel and Africa.

He joined Deutsche Bank in 2006, initially as head of private banking, having previously worked at Royal Bank of Canada. Whilst at Deutsche Bank, Wright led an international team of 26 staff advising ultra high net worth and family office clients.

In the newly-created role, Clive will lead the growth of the private wealth management business in offshore markets working closely with offshore professional advisors, and will lead offshore fund sales.

The appointment follows the recent hires of Valentina Tacchino as head of private wealth management international and Andrew Wheeler as executive director for business development.
