UK wealth management giant Brewin Dolphin has appointed Jonathan Tweedie new head of its Edinburgh office.
It follows Marc Wilkinson's - former Edinburgh head - move to regional director for Brewin Dolphin’s Scottish and North of England regions.
Tweedie has been with Brewin Dolphin for over 13 years having begun his career as an officer in the British Army. He was promoted to divisional director of Brewin Dolphin in 2007 and has a wealth of experience managing investment portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities.
“Jonathan and I have worked closely together over the last 13 years. His vision will help drive forward the Edinburgh office and I have no doubt that he will excel in his new role,” Wilkinson said.
Earlier this week the listed firm appointed Adam Wilkins as the new head of its Birmingham office, replacing Stephen Glazzard, who will be moving into a consultancy role ahead of his retirement, Brewin said in a statement.
The Brewin Dolphin Edinburgh office has more than 100 members of staff. The Group manages over £28 billion ($44 billion) of funds for over 100,000 private clients.
