JP Morgan AM Names New Global Strategy Head

JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed John Bilton as head of the global strategy team, replacing Neil Nuttall, who left earlier this year.

JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed John Bilton as head of the global strategy team, replacing Neil Nuttall who left earlier this year.

Based in London, Bilton will report to James Elliot, chief investment officer at the international investment management solutions global multi-asset group.

Bilton will be responsible along with the existing members of the global strategy team for determining global economic and asset allocation strategies, JP Morgan AM said in a statement.

He was previously head of European investment strategy at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for both European equity strategy and broader asset allocation research.

“John brings extensive asset allocation experience and leadership to our existing team. He will work closely with our quantitative research team and portfolio managers, across asset classes, to continue to build our asset allocation capabilities globally,” said Elliot.
