Brown Shipley has appointed David Thompson, a former head of Coutts’ sports and entertainment client segment, as private client director in the London office.

UK private bank Brown Shipley has appointed David Thompson, a former head of Coutts’ sports and entertainmentclient segment, as private client director in the London office, it announced today.

In his new job, Thompson will develop the wealth management and private banking proposition for a range of clients, it said.

At Coutts, he held positions including head of client service. Simon Hopes is now the market leader for Coutts’ sports and entertainment team.
