The creation of a client relationship role in Paris has set Neuberger Berman’s plans for cementing their position in France into motion.

Charles Soullard is set to lead the firm’s French client efforts. He was brought in following interest from the French investment community, alongside the firm's desire to further service its local clients with its investment strategies.

He will report to Dik van Lomwel, head of EMEA and Latin America at the employee-controlled investment management firm.

Soullard leaves his post as head of sales at OFI Asset Management to join Neuberger Berman, and brings with him extensive knowledge of the French market.

Following the interest from clients in its product range and capabilities, the firm is set to open a small office in Paris later this year, it told this publication.
