JP Morgan Asset Management has named its new regional sales manager for North England and Scotland UK fund sales following an internal reshuffle in December.

Keith Marcroft joins the firm to develop relationships with independent financial advisors and regional discretionary firms in the north of the UK.

His appointment follows the re-organisation of its sales team in light of the Retail Distribution Review, creating its global strategic relationships management team in UK funds sales.

JPMAM initiated the shuffle to ensure its resources were optimally aligned to its clients, as well as allowing the teams to focus on key client channels. Andrew Larkin was brought in to head the GSRM team at the end of last year.

Marcroft moves from HSBC Global Asset Management, where he served as senior regional sales manager. Here he directed the firm’s sales strategy for its on- and offshore products across asset classes to clients in Northern England.

He will report to Rob Sedgley, JPMAM’s head of IFA and regional discretionary sales.
