Julius Baer has appointed Mazy Moghadam to its London office, working as a senior relationship manager, holding the rank of managing director senior advisor.
He will focus on developing Julius Baer’s business with UK resident, resident non-domiciled and non-resident clients, and will report to David Durlacher, in the UK management team, Julius Baer said in a statement yesterday. He has more than 14 years’ experience in advising high and ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices and foundations. Previously, Moghadam was a senior relationship manager in the Monaco office of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management for five years, now part of Julius Baer.
“In Monaco he established us as a leading player in the market, a position we are building on as part of Julius Baer. His drive and advisory experience will be a powerful addition as we expand in the UK,” Adam Horowitz, head of Julius Baer’s UK business, said.
Formerly, Moghadam was a managing director in the private client services group at Bear Stearns in London. Before Bear Stearns, he was an executive director at Goldman Sachs and an associate in mergers and acquisitions at Morgan Stanley in London.
