Vontobel Launches Platform For External Asset Managers

Vontobel, the Swiss private bank, has launched a multifunctional platform for exclusive use by its external asset manager clients. The platform combines a number of applications including its deritrade issuing tool, which allows users to design, issue and manage structured products directly on their screens.

"Our EAM platform opens up a broad range of services to users via a central interface with our bank. For example, it enables them to structure customised derivatives products and to swiftly calculate different payoff models," Brian Fischer, head of Vontobel’s EAM desk, said in a statement.

Vontobel currently holds more than SFr 5 billion (around $5,24 billion) of assets on behalf of external asset managers and says that this figure is increasing.
