Julius Baer, which was due to report fourth-quarter results today, has hired former Standard Chartered Private Bank manager Ringo Li, the Swiss bank confirmed to this publication.

At UK/Hong Kong-listed Standard Chartered, Li held the post of senior director.

Zurich-listed Julius Baer, which has begun to integrate the non-US wealth business of Bank of America Merrill Lynch that it bought last year, has often stated that it treats Asia-Pacific as its second “home market”.
