CITIC Bank CEO Retires

CITIC Bank, the Hong Kong-headquartered financial services firm, has announced that its chief executive will be retiring this year.

Doreen Chan Hui Dor Lam will be leaving her post this year following a 15-year tenure serving different roles with the bank. She has been a CEO since 2002. 

Chan's retirement schedule and her successor will be announced in due course, the bank said. 

CITIC Bank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CITIC International Financial Holdings, which is 70.3 per cent owned by China CITIC Bank Corporation and 29.6 per cent owned by Spain's Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria. It provides investment and wealth management services to clients in Greater China and overseas.
