Zurich Private Clients, part of the Zurich Financial Services Group, has made two appointments to its London office from Chubb’s high net worth team.
Lennox Bunting takes on the role of London market manager and Alan Gorman assumes that of senior development underwriter to Zurich Private Clients’ new London team, effective at the end of the month. These are the firm’s first appointments to their newly-created team focusing specifically on the London market.
Bunting will be responsible for managing the HNW London market office and will initially be concentrating on building his new team. His role will focus on relationship development with brokers to support Zurich’s strategic growth objectives in this core market, the firm said in a statement.
Meanwhile Gorman will support Lennox as his number two, leading relationship management within the London team and underwriting target cases.
Both will be based in Zurich’s London office at the London Underwriting Centre and will report to Matthew Schofield, head of Zurich Private Clients.
“These are new roles which were created in response to feedback from brokers that said they want to work with a local London presence. Zurich Private Clients is looking to become a top two player in the HNW market and we’re particularly focused on growing our London based business over the next three years,” said Schofield.
