Brewin Dolphin Adds Two Executives To Charities Team

UK-listed
Brewin Dolphin has beefed up its charities team with two
hires, as part of an ongoing expansion of the five-strong
London-based unit.
Ruth Murphy - latterly of Newton - has been appointed to the newly-created post of head of charity business development, while Philip Young - formerly of UBS - joins as a divisional director of investment management.
The wealth manager, which also has charity specialists in some of its 42 regional UK offices, said it is planning to make more additions to the charities team later in the year.
Last week, Brewin reported that its income for the thirteen weeks to 26 June rose 10.7 per cent year-on-year to £68.1 million (about $111 million). Recurring income from investment management accounted for 60 per cent of total revenues.
