Hiring continues at Citi Private Bank in the UK, with three new senior appointments, WealthBriefing has learned.

Joss Mitchell, a private banker who joins from HSBC, has been appointed business development director; James Tussaud, joining from UBS, has been appointed vice president at the firm’s ultra high net worth desk; and Mikhail Tabakov joins as private banker covering Russian clients based in London.

At HSBC, Mitchell, who has 22 years of industry experience, was a private banker, team leader and business development director. For the last eight years he worked with intermediaries and clients promoting discretionary and absolute return services and alternative solutions. His career also included roles at Mercury Asset Management, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse.

Tussaud worked at UBS’ UHNW desk as an associate director. He has five years of financial experience, having been with Barclays Capital before joining UBS. Tussaud will join in August, the publication understands.

Tabakov joins Citi Private Bank to cover Russian clients based in London. He joins from Troika Dialog, for which he was based in Moscow.
