The Standard Chartered Private Bank Recruits Senior Citigroup Manager In HK

The Standard Chartered Private Bank has continued its hiring in Asia with the appointment of Trevor Mak from Citi Private Bank where he was managing director and market head.

Sources have confirmed to WealthBriefingAsia that Mr Mak joined recently and comes in as market head for Hong Kong.

Also joining is Stella Kong, who was vice chairman at Bank Sarasin and joins Standard Chartered as market head for China, sources have said.

The UK-listed bank has been expanding activities in Asia at a rapid pace. Earlier this week, The Standard Chartered Private Bank said it plans to open offices in two new Indian cities this year, and to double the number of its relationship managers in the country.
