Butterfield Trust Appoints Deputy Managing Director In Switzerland
The newly-appointed figure has worked in the sector for more than two decades.
Butterfield has
appointed Kim Morgan-Carvalho as deputy managing director for
trusts, Butterfield Switzerland.
Morgan-Carvalho has worked in a fiduciary capacity for more than
20 years, having originally started her career in Butterfield’s
Bermuda office, before moving to Geneva. In her new role,
she will work with Phil Lenz, who has recently been promoted to
MD of Butterfield Switzerland.
Jim Parker, Butterfield Switzerland’s country head, is continuing
to focus on clients while progressively reducing his
involvement in day-to-day management. Parker will still be
involved in the overall strategy of the Swiss business as a
member of the board.
In 2020 the Bank of N T Butterfield & Son rebranded its
Singapore-based subsidiary, Butterfield (Singapore) Pte Ltd. It
is now called Butterfield Trust (Asia) Limited.
