Wealth Management this week appointed Dean Smith to join its
board and promoted him to finance director and company secretary.
Previously he was the firm's finance controller and company
secretary.
Smith joined BRI in 2004 to assist in the administration and
finance department, before progressing to the role of finance
controller, the firm said in a statement.
In his new position, Smith will use his experience to provide BRI with financial and strategic guidance to continue on its path of sustainable growth, the firm added.
Dan Boardman-Weston, executive chairman at BRI Wealth Management,
said: “Throughout his long tenure at BRI, Dean has played an
integral role in helping us become the successful firm we are
today. We are privileged to be able to continue utilising his
significant expertise and relevant skill set to continue our
momentum.”
Smith added: “I have always believed strongly in BRI’s mission to
provide a professional, personal and friendly service, and am
honoured to step up my role at the company and involvement in its
bright future.”
BRI Wealth provides advice on a range of areas including
investment management, financial planning, ISAs, pensions,
inheritance tax planning and tax relieved investments, typically
to private clients, charities, trusts, intermediaries and
corporations.
