The business is the JV announced in late 2018 by Lloyds Banking Group and Schroders.
Schroders Personal Wealth, which a few weeks ago announced that it was launching regional UK offices as part of its build-out, has appointed Peter Brunt as head of manager research and Jennifer Christian as an investment specialist.
Brunt will focus on developing the investment research capability of SPW to support continued growth in the business. He will be mainly responsible for developing fund manager research and complementing SPW’s existing capabilities in the oversight of Schroders’ fund selection process, SPW said in a statement last week. He reports to Alessandro Poli, head of investment management.
Prior to this role, Brunt spent five years at Morningstar, most recently as an associate director. He started his investment career at S&P Fund Research in 2005, covering all asset classes but with a focus on equity funds. He holds the IMC and is a CFA charterholder.
Christian, who will report to Jon Wingent, head of investment specialists, will be based in Manchester working alongside the existing investment specialist team to help support clients and the growth of the business throughout the regions. Before this role, she worked at Quilter Cheviot, Deutsche Bank and Rensburg Sheppards.
