Editorial Staff, 5 May 2020

The latest senior moves in wealth management and legal services from across Europe and the UK.

UK-based Weatherby has appointed a tax advisor and team head to join its business.

Clare Munro joins as a senior tax advisor and Rupert Allison joins as an associate director and team head.

Last month, the firm appointed Fiona Noonan as general counsel.

Munro has been in practice since 1982 serving a vast range of clients, from individuals to FTSE100 companies. She has advised on all aspects of taxation including sale and purchase transactions, planning for property investment and development and tax efficient company structures. Most recently Munro was the lead tax partner at Lubbock Fine. Previous roles have included nearly 13 years in PricewaterhouseCooper’s corporate tax department, and a 13-year role at Haslers.

Allison’s 30-year career has spanned both private banking and investment management. He joins from Barclays Private Bank where he was a director focused on managing and building a high net worth client base. Other roles include working at Coutts Private Office where he led an ultra-high net worth team, HSBC Private Bank where he was also a director and team leader, and BZW Portfolio Management.
