Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? haysmacintyre, Aviva Investors

The latest moves in wealth management from across the UK and Europe.

UK chartered accountancy firm haysmacintyre has named James Walker as a partner in its private client team.

Walker previously worked at Buzzacott LLP, where he was a partner and head of private clients. As well as looking after the personal tax affairs of UK domiciled individuals, he also specialises in the taxation of non-UK domiciled individuals and offshore trust and company structures. Walker began his career in Jersey, Channel Islands in 1996 where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser while working in the tax teams of two well respected fiduciary services companies, Abacus and RBC, before returning to London to further his career in 2005.

The firm recently named a new head of tax Tim Davies and private client and trusts directors Stephanie Parker and Kay Mind.

Aviva Investors
Aviva Investors, the global asset management arm of Aviva plc, has named Apiramy (Api) Jeyarajah as head of UK wholesale and Rula Ipsaryaris as head of client solutions for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Both will report to TJ Voskamp, client solutions director for the firm's UK and European business.
 
Based in London, Jeyarajah will be responsible for growing Aviva UK investor relationships with intermediary clients, including financial advisors and discretionary asset managers, which extends to clients in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. She joins Aviva after six years at HSBC Global Asset Management, where she was most recently head of financial institutions for the UK and Israel. Jeyarajah has also worked at Royal Bank of Scotland, ABN Amro and SEI Investments.

Ipsaryaris joins from Vanguard, where she was deputy country head and senior sales executive for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. She will lead Aviva Investors’ business with institutional and wholesale clients in both those countries and will be based at Aviva’s Zurich office. Prior experience includes senior posts at Vontobel, State Street, Julius Baer, Coutts and Morgan Stanley.
