The UK-listed firm continues a busy period of hiring and business alliances.
Charles Prideaux, who brings 30 years of management experience, including portfolio and investment platform management, has been appointed to the newly-created role of global head of investment. Along with the ESG team and the Data Insights Unit, Prideaux will be responsible for managing, overseeing and developing Schroders’ investment platform.
After 38 years with the firm, John Troiano, global head of distribution, is retiring at the end of the year to ensure that his responsibilities are transferred smoothly.
Lieven Debruyne, who has been leading business strategy in Asia-Pacific over the past 14 years, will be global head of distribution. Debruyne will continue as CEO of Asia Pacific until a successor is appointed, at which time he will relocate from Hong Kong to London.
In addition to her existing role as global head of multi-asset
investments, Johanna Kyrklund has been appointed as group chief
investment officer. Carolina Minio-Paluello is joining from
Lombard Odier Investment Managers as global head of Product,
Solutions & Quant, where she was most recently global head of

Prideaux, Minio-Paluello and Kyrklund will work in partnership across Schroders’ investment desks.
