The firm has already operated in the UAE for more than 17 years, it said.
Intertrust, provider of administrative services, has opened a new office in the Abu Dhabi Global Market, a jurisdiction operating in the Gulf region.
The firm said that it has been active in the United Arab Emirates for more than 17 years, serving multinational firms in the region, as well as international firms operating there.
The office is led by managing director Patricia 't Hart-van Rooijen.
On 20 September, the Netherlands-based firm said that it expected to log underlying revenue growth of 3 to 5 per cent year-on-year, with capital spending amounting to about 2 per cent of its revenues. The firm said in a presentation: "Intertrust will be capturing opportunities to expand and diversify our service offering, both organically and through M&A, with a strong focus on fund administration and capital mrkets."
Disciplined M&A is back on the agenda, with the US and Asia as priority regions. To strengthen its competitive positioning Intertrust has started to explore the use of shared services for some of its core activities," the firm said.
