There is a new COO taking over at the private bank.

Coutts has a new chief operating officer in the person of James Clarry, who takes over from Grant Parkinson, who is leaving the blue-blooded bank at the end of June to pursue an external opportunity, it said.

Clarry continues his role of leading the lending and capital management team at the private bank.

Parkinson has been at Coutts for five years, holding the COO role for four of them.
