The UK-listed firm has added to the management team of its wealth intermediaries division.

Standard Chartered Jersey has appointed Adam Buxton as head of wealth investments to govern its wealth intermediaries division.

Buxton has more than 30 years of banking industry experience and has previously held roles in custody, banking, investments, and funds and treasury sectors.

In his new role, he will be based in Jersey and will lead a team of relationship managers to deliver growth plans through the diversification of Standard Chartered Jersey's offerings to wealth intermediaries throughout the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, and the UK.

Buxton will replace Adam Greig who left the firm earlier this year, WealthBriefing can confirm.

“Adam is a highly respected and experienced professional, known for his pragmatic and client-focussed approach to management,” said Richard Ingle, chief executive of the firm.

He added: “His extensive knowledge of the wealth intermediary sector will be instrumental as we look to build on the success of Standard Chartered's wealth intermediary business across the Crown Dependencies and the UK.”
