Asian Wealth Management Digital Solutions Firm Makes Raft Of Hires
A firm based in Hong Kong that works with wealth management businesses has made a number of senior hires.
Quantifeed, which
provides digital wealth management solutions in Asia, has
appointed Audrey Wong to the combined role of chief
operating and financial officer. The firm has also
made other senior hires in the region, bringing in several
figures from Merrill Lynch.
The firm, based in Hong Kong, is expanding after a $4.5 million
money-raising round held in July, it said.
Wong was previously at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where
she was COO of Asia-Pacific equities in Hong Kong. Her career
spans more than 15 years in the investment banking sector,
including roles as CFO and COO, Quantifeed said in a statement
yesterday.
Other recent appointments at the firm include:
- Graeme Brant, based in Sydney, as senior executive for
strategic partnerships. He drives the company's business in
Australia. Brant has expertise in investment products and
distribution to institutional, high net worth and retail
investors. His career in financial services covers over 20 years,
with senior posts at Merrill Lynch and Macquarie Bank.
- Dominic Chan, based in Hong Kong, will join by the
end of 2016 as senior executive for strategic partnerships
responsible for distribution in North Asia. He has over 16 years
of experience from leading financial institutions including
Standard Chartered Bank and JP Morgan.
- Chi-Leung Fung, based in Hong Kong, as senior developer of
operations. He is a former director at Bank of America Merrill
Lynch. He brings expertise in platform engineering and
technology in electronic trading and derivatives.
Quantifeed's technology offers automated investing functions
based on life goals, risk assessment and investment themes for
consumers and wealth advisors. The company was founded by former
investment banking executives Alex Ypsilanti, chief executive,
and Ross Milward, chief technology officer, in Hong Kong in 2013.
