Executive Search Firm Adds To Financial Services Team In Hong Kong

Heidrick & Struggles International, the US-listed executive
search firm, has recruited David Hui as a partner in its
financial services practice. Hui is based in Hong Kong.
Previously, Hui was founder and managing director of a boutique
search firm, responsible for managing large regional accounts and
senior-level assignments. Prior to this, he was the head of the
financial services practice for Asia-Pacific at an international
search firm (unnamed in the Heidrick & Struggles statement),
leading a team of more than 40 consultants, it said. Before that
role, Hui served for six years as head of Asia for a London-based
executive search firm specialising in senior hires.
In his early career, he worked as a banking and finance lawyer at
both Allen & Overy and Baker & McKenzie. Hui holds an LLB
(joint honors) degree in law and Chinese studies from the
University of Leeds , and an LLM from the University of London.
He also holds an MBA from the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Program
in Hong Kong.
