Cazenove Capital Adds To Scottish Team

The wealth management firm that is part of UK-based Schroders has made a commercial appointment to its discretionary fund management team.

Cazenove Capital has appointed Kim Nelson as regional business development manager, based in Edinburgh.

Nelson joins from Tilney Investment Management, where she was an investment advisor based in the firm's Glasgow office. She brings eight years’ investment experience, having also worked at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management and Standard Life Investments, according to her LinkedIn profile.

In the newly-created role, Nelson will be responsible for business development and managing relationships with financial advisors in Scotland and Northern Ireland, working with Cazenove's portfolio directors.

“She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge and will be invaluable in helping us expand our footprint in Scotland and Northern Ireland as we look to build on our success in working with the advisor community,” said Nick Georgiadis, head of discretionary fund management.

Cazenove, the wealth management business of Schroders in the UK, Channel Islands and Asia, managed £33 billion ($44 billion) globally on behalf of clients as of 31 March 2016.
