The London-listed fund management group has poached Credit Suisse's group finance head.

Jupiter Fund Management has hired Charlotte Jones from Credit Suisse as its new chief financial officer.

Jones will take up her new role in September, replacing Philip Johnson, who is leaving the company after almost seven years as CFO. She will also join the Jupiter board as an executive director, subject to regulatory approval.

Having joined Credit Suisse in 2013, Jones is the bank's head of group finance and chief accounting officer. She previously spent nine years at Deutsche Bank, latterly as deputy CFO.

Jupiter recently reported net inflows of £723 million ($1.04 billion) for the first quarter of 2016, bringing the company's assets under management to £36.2 billion, up 4 per cent from a year earlier.
