Asian Bank Brings Over Ex-Coutts Senior Man In Singapore

This publication reports on the appointments and moves in the wealth management industry in Asia.

Bank of Singapore, part of OCBC, has hired Zubin Dabu, a former senior banker at Coutts in Asia, as market head for sub-continent and NRI Southeast Asia, the bank confirmed. He is based in Singapore.

Dabu was previously a managing director, South Asia, and ultra-high net worth banker, based in Singapore, at Coutts. Before joining Coutts in 2013, he worked at Deaville Family Office, and before that, at the private bank of Standard Chartered.

Bank of Singapore gave no further details on Dabu’s appointment.

Last year, Royal Bank of Scotland sold its non-UK wealth business, including the Coutts operations in Singapore and Switzerland, to Geneva-headquartered Union Bancaire Privée.
