The Switzerland-headquartered firm has added two new strategies to its investment offering.

The asset management arm of Switzerland’s SYZ Group has added two new funds to its multi-asset offering and expanded its investment team.

The two new funds are the OYSTER Multi-Asset Diversified Fund and the OYSTER Multi-Asset ActiProtect, SYZ said in a statement yesterday.

Hartwig Kos, co-head of the multi-asset team and vice-chief investment officer, is lead manager of the OYSTER Multi-Asset Diversified Fund. Kos was formerly a multi-asset fund manager at Baring Asset Management. He took over management of the fund in January, in collaboration with Fabrizio Quirighetti, co-head of the multi-asset team and chief investment officer.

The fund will target a similar performance to stock markets with less risk, the firm said.

Meanwhile, Guido Bolliger and Claude Cornioley lead manage the OYSTER Multi-Asset ActiProtect, targeting two-thirds of the performance of certain specified stock markets, with an aim of achieving this with one third of the corresponding risk. Bolliger and Cornioley were formerly at Dynagest, Olympia Capital and Julius Baer.

In the UK, SYZ Asset Management offers two UK-registered funds: OYSTER Absolute Return GBP and OYSTER Multi-Asset Absolute Return EUR.

The OYSTER Multi-Asset Diversified fund and OYSTER Multi-Asset ActiProtect fund are registered in Benelux, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland.
