The UK-based investment manager has made a senior appointment from a rival in London.

Hargreave Hale has hired Brewin Dolphin’s Marcus Low as an investment manager.

Low joins after a decade as divisional director at Brewin Dolphin. He has over 20 years’ industry experience.

In the newly-created role, he will be based in London. He will join his former Brewin colleagues Ian Kavanagh, Victoria Macdonald and Neil Jones, who all moved to Hargreave Hale in 2014.

“Marcus is another welcomed addition to our growing London office, who brings with him a wealth of experience and technical ability,” said Stuart Brookes, joint managing director at Hargreave Hale.

Hargreave Hale, which is based across nine UK offices, has over £5 billion ($7 billion) under management.
