Charles Stanley Names Interim CIO
The London-headquartered investment manager has yet to make a permanent CIO appointment.
The UK's Charles Stanley has appointed Jonathan Cunliffe as interim chief investment officer.
Cunliffe previously worked at Tesco Pensions Investments, where he was head of fixed income and multi-asset investment strategy. He left the firm in September 2014, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Prior to Tesco, Cunliffe held senior roles at Aberdeen Asset Management, ABN Amro Asset Management and Brown Shipley. As interim CIO, Cunliffe will be based in London until a permanent appointment is made.
The CIO role was previously held by Paul Abberley who joined Charles Stanley from Aviva Investors last year and became chief executive in October.
