The UK-based private bank has expanded its fund management team in London.
Kleinwort Benson has hired Brewin Dolphin's Annabel Breakey as a discretionary fund manager.
Breakey was previously assistant investment manager at Brewin Dolphin. She spent three years at the firm’s Newcastle office, helping to manage over 300 clients with combined assets of £100 million ($151 million).
In the newly created role, Breakey will be based in London.
“Annabel’s growing experience in working with independent financial advisors will bolster Kleinwort Benson’s existing capabilities across discretionary fund management, cash management and lending,” said Kleinwort Benson's head of discretionary fund management, Leigh Philpot.
Kleinwort Benson is part of Belgium's BHF Kleinwort Benson Group, which manages over €58 billion ($61 billion) of assets and is the subject of a takeover bid from China's Fosun.
