Mayfair Private, the private client advisory business launched in June last year by Mishcon de Reya and family office specialists Opus Private, has appointed Alistair Morgan as chief executive, as the business evolves its structure.

Morgan joins the firm after having been the head of the family office of Lord Jacob Rothschild since August 2012 and, prior to that, spending 16 years at the chartered accountancy firm Rawlinson & Hunter. He has an extensive background in the international private wealth industry and has worked in the UK, Guernsey and the Cayman Islands. Morgan specialises in the management of international private wealth structures, including trusts and commercial enterprises, often with significant tax components, Mayfair Private said in a statement yesterday.
