The BNY Mellon company operating in spaces such as custody and support for wealth managers has rolled out its new portfolio reporting template.

Pershing Limited, a BNY Mellon company operating in spaces such as custody and support for wealth managers, has rolled out its new portfolio reporting template.

The redesign allows wealth manager and advisor clients to offer “clearer, more comprehensive and intuitive individually-branded documentation to end-investors”, the firm said in a statement.

The valuation report’s main features include a 20-plus-page colour-coded booklet presenting information ranging from portfolio breakdown to top contributors and transaction history; a “portfolio at a glance” page providing an immediate overview of financial position; customised market commentary and the ability to tailor content to an advisor's corporate identity and the specific needs of end-investors, it said.

The firm said it held focus group sessions with advisor clients about the new template.

“Since branding, identity and client ownership are so important to our clients, the ability to fully customise the white-label report is a crucial component of the updated system. The intuitive ordering and level of information, which progresses from overview to account level holdings, provides invaluable analysis and has been very well received by clients,” Kevin Bonar, CEO of Pershing, said.
