Former JP Morgan Investment Head Goes Down The Philanthropic Route

A former head of investment management, Americas, for JP Morgan Asset Management, Catherine Keating, is leaving to take up the chief executive berth at philanthropic organisation Commonfund at the start of February 2015.

Former head of investment management, Americas, for JP Morgan Asset Management, Catherine Keating, is leaving to take up the chief executive berth at philanthropic organisation Commonfund at the start of February 2015.

She is taking over from Commonfund’s existing CEO, Verne Sedlacek, who will continue to act in an advisory role for up to three months. Sedlacek will continue to serve on non-profit boards. JP Morgan did not say whether there will be a replacement for Keating.

Commonfund manages nearly $25 billion in assets.
