Majedie Asset Management co-founder Adam Parker is stepping down next June.

Parker has spent 27 years in the fund management industry and co-founded Majedie in 2002 alongside James de Uphaugh, Chris Field, Rob Harris, and Simon Hazlitt.

The London-headquartered investment boutique said Richard Staveley will take over full management of the UK smaller companies fund which he co-runs with Parker.

"After navigating the ups and downs of the UK stock market for nearly three decades, it is time for me to move on. Majedie has progressed beyond our imaginings back in 2002 and I will leave behind a remarkable team," Parker said.
