UK Investment Firm Rolls Out 3i Infotech's Stockbroking System

UK-based investment manager and stockbroker Rowan Dartington & Co has gone live with Altimis Order Management with Retail Service Provider Link, a stockbroking system provided by 3i Infotech, the Indian technology firm.

Designed as a front-to-back office package for all aspects of stockbroking and investment management, Altimis OMS is aimed at increasing automation, eliminating the need for paper-based records and strengthening firms’ audit trails, 3i said in a statement. The system’s RPS link also allows Rowan Dartington to interface directly with LSE’s Proquote RSP Gateway.

“Rowan Dartington is using both the RSP Gateway and dealing queue for live business. Altimis OMS with RSP Link provides Rowan Dartington with a complete view of all the firms’ orders, from single orders to client bulks,” said Piers Farbrother, product director, 3i Infotech - Western Europe.

According to David Couch, managing director of Rowan Dartington, Altimis has already generated benefits for the firm in terms of straight through processing, reduced risk and in freeing up employees’ time.

Rowan Dartington has also signed a 5-year renewal for Altimis Bureau Services, 3i Infotech said.
