UK Asset Manager Hires New Head Of Distribution

The new head of distribution will report directly to managing director Rupert Robinson.
UK asset manager Gresham House has
appointed Michael Hart to the newly-created role of head of
distribution, effective 5 June 2017. This appointment comes as
the firm looks set to acquire Hazel Capital and launch a new long
term institutional investment fund.
Hart will be responsible for distribution across Gresham House’s
various alternative products. He will also be responsible for
developing the firm’s newly established long term investment
solutions business, Gresham House said in a statement
yesterday.
He will report directly to managing director Rupert Robinson.
The new head of distribution has over 20 years’ experience in
both traditional and alternative asset management. He has served
as global head of business development at both Amundi Alternative
Investments and Aberdeen Asset Management.
“We are pleased to have attracted someone of Michael’s quality to
lead our distribution activity,” said Robinson. “He is joining
Gresham House at a particularly important time in our development
following the announcement of our proposed acquisition of Hazel
Capital, the specialist new energy infrastructure manager, and
the forthcoming launch of the British Strategic Investment Fund
which will target long term institutional investment in housing
and infrastructure across the UK."
