The UK investment manager is boosting its high yield capabilities under the team’s new leadership.
Kames Capital has hired Jack Holmes as an investment manager within its high yield bond team.
The appointment comes shortly after David Ennett joined from Standard Life as head of high yield and Phil Milburn returned to the company as head of fixed income investment strategy following a period of ill health.
Holmes joins from Standard Life Investments, where he was an analyst on the European high yield team covering sectors including general industrials, waste and recycling, and oil and gas services. In the new role, he will report to Ennett.
From Edinburgh and London, Kames managed £50.1 billion ($66.6 billion) of assets as at the end of June 2016. Its clients include pension funds, government agencies, financial institutions, wealth managers, family offices and financial advisors.
